Emergi-Safe will undertake creating a Fire Door Register for you. Our assessors are fully qualified, competent professionals. When we have thoroughly inspected each fire door within your premises, we collate a full and comprehensive technical report, detailing the condition of each door and highlighting areas of non-compliance.
This report assigns a unique number to each door for complete clarity and will include photographs of any non-compliant components for ease of repair and reference.
All assets are recorded, and an asset register is created for your records and for future use as a reference for on-going inspections. We will advise if replacement components or doors are needed and can supply and install any replacement parts as required.
Every fire door is coded and provided with a unique identifier, and the following information is captured:
- Certifier Label, if present
- Door material
- Door rating
- Door type i.e. single, double etc
- Frame material
- Local Label, if present
- Photographs of doors.
Fire Door Inspection
A full inspection of each door is carried out covering the following:
- Door gaps and damage
- Door closures
- Intumescent/smoke and acoustic seals
- Hinges
- Glazing
- Door furniture
- Signage
